If you have never been to the distant mountain villages of Ukraine, you have not seen Ukraine.
Here time flows slowly, dragging on like liquid caramel. The wind quietly sways the tops of century-old pines. Even the birds sing their songs slowly, with long pauses, as if echoing with each other. You lie on the grass, close your eyes, and are transported several centuries ago. You notice with surprise that nothing has changed around! The stream is still flowing, tall pines are whispering among themselves, the same bright greenery. Suddenly, from afar, the sounds of a bandura are heard and behind the tall bushes, you can see the performer himself. It is no coincidence that he plays his song in such a deserted place. After a while, a beauty with buckets at the ready appears from the thickets. And by all appearances, both of them were preparing and dreamed of this meeting. This picture is permeated with the atmosphere of first love and youth. Juicy, bright colors of the work reflect its animal energy. Fill your home with bright emotions and flavor of an old Ukrainian village!
The artwork was created using the author's technique of color linocut, from forms that I cut out by myself. The drawings from which the shapes were cut are the fruit of my imagination and inspiration, as well as more than 25 years of artistic experience. All our paintings are made by hand. Using our favorite linocut technique. The vast majority of our art is not made in the classic linocut technique, combined with other techniques such as monotype, collage and therefore has no circulation.
The artwork is printed on quality paper, signed at the bottom of the print, as well as on the back. The artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The size of the artwork is 39.4x27.6" (100x70 cm). This artwork is without decoration. It requires registration in a frame, mat, and glass. I carefully pack my artworks and ship them in thick cardboard tubes.
